I was Park Avenue’s British Airways Account Manager for 10 months from July 2002 to April 2003.  I managed two consumer-facing promotions and one major sub-brand re-launch, covering both internal promotions and consumers


Relaunch of Executive Club

Global

A project to manage the communication of re-launch of the BA Executive Club to staff and consumers using print, events and software.  This involved a teaser poster and collateral campaign run in BA offices around the world, large scale banner hangings in BA Waterside and other offices, and the production of a touch-screen application for use in BA Executive Club Lounges throughout the UK.

Software production

  1. BulletWorking as software producer with the client to understand the complex message that needed to be communicated, and then working with designer and software designer and programmer to produce an internal comms and customer-facing touch screen presentation.  This was installed in Executive Club lounges around the UK.


World Offers Promotion

BA Travel Shops and London Eye

A promotion that was run on Capital Radio directing the public to BATS to collect vouchers for free flights on the London Eye.  Once on the London Eye, the guests had the chance of winning free tickets around the World.

Project Evesham Promotion

BA Travel Shops and Rail stations

A promotion that was run to launch British Airways' biggest price promotion of 2002.  A consumer-facing event in London, Manchester and Glasgow.  This involved the production of “Fat suits” – inflatable suits featuring the BA prices, and touring these around the country
